The purpose of a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) is to proactively prevent accidents and injuries by identifying and mitigating hazards before they pose a risk. It plays a vital role in an overall safety management program, contributing to a safer and healthier workplace for all employees.

Training on a work permit system focuses on understanding the specific hazards related to the tasks being performed and the procedures in place to control those risks. This includes proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling of hazardous materials, and correct protocols for entering and exiting confined spaces.
