Accident investigations are usually conducted by a trained investigator, either from the organization's safety team or an external expert. The primary objective is to uncover the root causes of the incident and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.

Training on the preparation of DOLE OSH-related reports focuses on understanding the specific requirements for each type of report, as well as the correct procedures for their completion and submission. It also covers relevant laws and regulations governing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Philippines.
